Frank E. Miles, 51, a veteran Olin school bus driver, was the eighth Jones county traffic fatality when he was killed at 8:05 last Friday morning.

Miles, who had been driving Olin school busses for more than 25 years, had turned up a lane to pick up Dorothy Vozenlik, niece of Mrs. Charles Rowell, when the Milwaukee train hit him. She would have been the first of his passengers picked up.

Officials quoted the engineer of the freight as saying he didn't see the school bus on the crossing. Vision last Friday was obscured by a heavy fog throughout this area.

Funeral services were held Monday.
