WYOMING - Funeral services for Cornelius Martinsen, 72, who died Thursday evening at the home of his son, Raymond, following a stroke of paralysis suffered Tuesday, was held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Harrington funeral home in Wyoming. The Rev. H. Graening officiated with burial in the Wyoming cemetery.

The deceased was born in Germany July 31, 1879 and was ten years old when the family came to the States and located in Clinton county. There he was confirmed in the Lutheran church in 1894.

After his marriage to Ida Thomsen of Wyoming, the home was on farms in the Wyoming vicinity, until after the death of his wife a few years ago, when he moved to Wyoming.

Survivors are three children: Mrs. Minna Westphal, Anamosa; Malvern and Raymond of Wyoming; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Jacobs and Mrs. Christina Boetel, both of Hartley.
