Services for Russell E. Meade, 78, were held Saturday afternoon at the Goettsch funeral home in Anamosa. Rev. E. E. Walker conducted the services.

Mr. Meade, an employee of the Iowa Electric Company in Anamosa for 43 years, died Thursday, June 7, following a period of illness. He is survived by his wife and the following children: Russell Lee, Monticello; Jay Eugene, Des Moines; Mrs. Fred Beam, Independence; Mrs. Ray McCormick, Morley, and Jessie, of Anamosa. Two sons, Leon and Leroy died in infancy. Mr. Meade is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Thomas Weiss, of Fulton, Ill.

Interment was made at Riverside cemetery.
