CENTER JUNCTION - Word reached here of the death of Arthur A. Abel at his home northwest of Anamosa last Wednesday afternoon. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Goettsch funeral home, Anamosa.

Mr. Abel was born at Vinton, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Abel. He was married to Mabel Salisburg of Lost Nation on April 23, 1902. They lived for a number of years at Lost Nation and in Clinton county, and in the Center Junction community, moving to Anamosa in 1934.

He is survived by his wife; four sons and two daughters, Fred of Anamosa, Albert of Morgantown, W.Va., Arthur of Philadelphia, Pa., Darrell of Lafayette, Ind., Mrs. Dorothy Thomas of LaPorte City, and Mrs. Gertrude Joslin, Sabula; one sister, Mrs. Ona Gruner, Jesup; one brother, Edward Abel of LaPorte City, and eleven grandchildren.
