MONTICELLO - Funeral services for George W. Kraft, 65, were held Tuesday afternoon at the Goettsch funeral home, with the Rev. John Benjamin Wild officiating. Interment was in Oakwood cemetery.

Mr. Kraft died at University hospital in Iowa City Sunday morning, June 4, following an illness of several weeks. He was born Jan. 22, 1902, at Monticello, the son of Axel and Addie Walston Kraft.

He attended the Monticello schools and for a number of years was employed by the Milwaukee railroad. Previous to his death he did farm work.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Howard. Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. John (Flossie) Yousse of Monticello, and Mrs. Lucille Locher of Portland, Ore.

Pallbearers were Morgan Hyde, Edward Cashen, Elmer Brokaw, Ray Prull, Lyle Arduser and E. G. Schoon.
