OXFORD JCT. - Funeral services for Mrs. Wallace (Marie) Kammer, 80, were held Sept. 6 at the Oxford Jct. Methodist church with the Rev. Robert Christensen officiating. Burial was in the Lost Nation cemetery.

Mrs. Kammer died Sept. 3 at Jackson county hospital, Maquoketa. She was born May 28, 1887 in Jackson county, the daughter of Herman and Marie Schraeder Fleming. She was married to Wallace Kammer Feb. 1, 1911 in Davenport. For the past 25 years they have made their home in Oxford Jct.

Survivors include her husband; one son Ben of Ft. Morgan, Colo.; one daughter, Mrs. Frank (Eva) Hansen of Elwood; two brothers, Henry and Jack Fleming of Lost Nation; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Guyer and Mrs. Ernest (Minnie) Kammer of Lost Nation and Mrs. Alma Nodurft of Davenport, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, one son and one grandson.
