Mrs. James (Margaret) Supple, 71, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Don Lewis in Monticello, Tuesday morning at 11:30. Friends may call at the Devaney funeral home in Monticello from where the funeral will be held to Sacred Heart church Friday morning at 9:30. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception cemetery, Castle Grove.

Mrs. Supple was born March 17, 1879 in Temple Hill, daughter of William and Mary (Finn) Donahue. On October 26, 1898, she was married to James Supple in St. Peter's church, Temple Hill by the Rev. P. J. Coffey. After their marriage the couple farmed in the vicinity of Castle Grove. In 1936 they moved to Hopkinton, where they lived until 1948. Since the death of Mr. Supple in 1948, Mrs. Supple had resided in Monticello.

She is survived by three sons, Raymond of Hopkinton, Vincent and Matt of Monticello; three daughters, Mrs. Joe (Vera) Bader of Monticello, Mrs. Marcella Leonard, Anamosa, and Mrs. Don (Evelyn) Lewis, Monticello; three brothers, Jerome and Michael, both of Temple Hill, and William Donahue, of Dubuque; three sisters, Mrs. John Supple of Temple Hill, Mrs. George Nordman, Monticello, and Mrs. Agnes Keating, Anamosa, twenty-five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Frances, who died in 1932, three sisters and three brothers.
