Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock for Ethel M. Studer, who died early Friday morning at her home. Services were conducted at the Goettsch funeral home with Rev. H. L. Adix officiating. Burial was made in Oakwood cemetery.

Mrs. Studer was born in Monticello, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Stone, and made her home in and around Monticello all her life. She was a graduate of the Monticello public schools.

On June 5, 1917 she was married to John R. Studer; they were the parents of one son, Warren. Mrs. Studer preceded his wife in death in 1941.

Pallbearers included William First, LaVern Eilers, Herman Hoffman, Kenneth Serbousek, Victor Richardson, and George Richardson.
