Services for Anne Koranda, 63, rural Oxford Junction were held March 18 at 1:30 p.m. at the Hayden Funeral Home in Oxford Junction. Rev. Ramon Booth of Cedar Rapids officiated at the services with burial at the Mayflower Cemetery at Oxford Junction.

Mrs. Koranda was born June 13, 1918 at Oxford Junction to Frank and Katherine Hurita Zamistil. She attended the Oxford Junction School and graduated from the same. On June 1, 1940, she married Fred Koranda in Cedar Rapids. The couple farmed in the area until Mr. Koranda's death in 1980.

She was a member of the Legion Auxiliary, Order of the Eastern Star and was affiliated with the Methodist Church.

Pallbearers wee Michael Vacek, Daryl Carstensen, John Ripperton, Tom Von Muenster, Leroy Von Muenster and Duane Lasack.

Survivors include three sons, Steve of Dayton, Ohio, Tom of Eldridge and Rick of Oxford Junction; a granddaughter Tish of Dayton, Ohio, and a brother, Frank Zamistil of Wyoming.

She was preceded by a brother.
