Funeral services for Mrs. Nettie Mundinger Trotter, 78, were held Thursday at Goettsch Funeral home Friday at 2 p.m. Rev. Gideon I. Krein will conduct the services and interment will be in Oakwood cemetery. Mrs. Trotter died at the Straug Nursing home Tuesday.

She was born Aug. 25, 1880, the daughter of Matthew and Nancy Ennis Sackett of Scotch Grove. She lived in the community for a number of years. Mrs. Trotter married Charles Trotter and they moved to West Union, Ohio where they farmed until Mr. Trotter's death in 1958. After his death she returned to Monticello.

She is survived by one son, Peter Mundinger of Wyandott, Mich., two daughters, Irene Smith of Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Eric (Hazel) Semerow of Elizabeth, Ill., and nine grandchildren. One son William and one daughter Ada preceded her in death.
