John Charles Feddersen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Feddersen, formerly of Wyoming, Iowa, died July 28, 1980, at his cabin in Big Thomson Canyon, just east of Estes Park, Colorado, from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to his chest.

John was a plumber in the Estes Park area. He grew up in Wyoming, Iowa and moved to Colorado with his parents. He attended school in Loveland, Colorado and graduated from high school in Estes Park, Colorado.

He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, and was buried with military honors.

John was born March 7, 1947 at Anamosa, Iowa. He is survived by his parents, Ben and Leona Feddersen, who live just east of Estes Park, Colorado, in the Big Thomson Canyon. Their address is Box 98, Drake, Colorado 80515. He is also survived by one brother, Leon B. Feddersen of Loveland, Colorado and two sisters, Lora Tucker of Tucson, Arizona and Carolyn Macon, of Gainesville, Texas.
