Funeral services for Cecil H. Fall, 72, who died July 31st at an Anamosa hospital, was held Saturday at the Hayden Funeral Home in Olin. Rev. Lloyd Dutro was the officiating pastor. Pallbearers were Harold Sweet, Floyd Wildman, Charles Holland, Larry Kimball, Arno Lawson and Frederick Engelking. Burial was in the Antioch cemetery.
Cecil was born March 25, 1908, near Wyoming, IA, the son of Monte and Daisy Blood Fall.
He attended schools in Jones Co., and on April 20, 1927, he married Emma Friedrichsen at Olin.
The couple lived most of their married life in Olin.
Cecil worked on farms, did general trucking, and then hauled limestone and rock. After retiring from the trucking business, he owned and operated the Triangle Cafe in Olin for three years.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Vivian Mrs. Robert Suchomel, West Branch; and Donna, Mrs. Donald Bodkin, Olin; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, six brothers, Lester, Edward and Roland, Olin; Leo, Hale; Harold, Belle Plaine, Harland, Miron, and one sister, Violet, Mrs. Vernie Wood, Olin.
His parents preceded him in death.
