Funeral services for Harlan A. Moore, 55, was held Sept. 3, at the Hayden Funeral Home in Olin. Rev. Williams Harnish was the officiating pastor and burial was in the Antioch cemetery. Pallbearers were Kevin Christensen, Kelvin, Kent, Daniel and Kyle Moore, Dennis Shelton. Gayle Hartwig was soloist and Vicki Von Behren, pianist.

Harlan Moore, Marion, died Aug. 31. He was born near Onslow Aug. 11, 1925, the son of Alfred and Katherine Hinrichs Moore. He attended school at Wyoming, and on Dec. 7, 1951, he married Rosalie Shelton at Tama, IA. He worked in construction most of his life, living in Jones and Linn Counties.

Surviving him are his wife, Rosalie, Marion; two sons, Darrell and Roger, and one daughter, Marilyn Boots, Marion, his mother Katherine Moore, Olin, two grandchildren, one step-grandchild; six brothers, Delbert, Willis, Gerald and Carlyle, Olin; Merlin, Anamosa, and Larry, East Moline, IL; six sisters, Roberta, Mrs. Gunther Christensen, Wellman; Waunda, Mrs. Robert Petersen, Hale; Gloria, Mrs. Jack Bodkin; Marleen, Mrs. Joe Levsen; and Carol, Mrs. Chris Bendixen, all of Olin, and Mrs. Coleen Ward, Monticello.

His father and two sons preceded him in death.
