Ida M. Wright, 86, of Olin died April 19 at John McDonald Hospital in Monticello. She was born on July 12, 1894 at Wagoner, KY, the daughter of Samuel and Mandy Hall Caudill.

On April 24, 113 she married Lewis Wright at Morehead, Ky. After three years in Kentucky they moved to Iowa and lived for a short time at Ottumwa, in Cedar County, and in Jones County before settling in Olin where they made their home for 50 years.

Lewis preceded her in death in June, 1980. She was also preceded in death by one sister and five brothers.

Surviving her are one son, Lester of Olin, 2 daughters, Mrs. Pearl Barnhart, Wyoming, and Mrs. Dale (Lydia Mae) Glick, Cedar Rapids; 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Mary Mercer of Columbus, OH and two brothers, Herbert Caudill of Wimauma, FL and Lindsay Caudill of Morehead, KY.

Serivces were held Wednesday, April 22 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Olin at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fred Richardson officiating. Burial was in Olin Cemetery. Mrs. Greg VonBehren was organist and Gayle Hartwig, soloist. Pallbearers were Alvin Wright, Carl Wright, Paul Wright, Lawrence Wright, Dallas Wright, Arlo Wright and Stanley Wright.
