OXFORD JCT. - Funeral services for Frank Henak, 78, who died Thursday, May 12, at Jackson county hospital, Maquoketa, after a long illness, were held Sunday afternoon at Hayden Funeral home with the Rev. Ramon Booth officiating. Burial was in Mayflower cemetery.

He was born April 11, 1889, near Oxford Jct., the son of Joseph and Mary Henak. He was married to Rose Kropek Feb. 18, 1915. They farmed until his retirement. He was a member of the KP lodge.

Survivors include his wife, Rose; one son, Elmer and one sister, Mrs. Anna VanSickle, all of Oxford Jct., one brother Charles of Ohio and one grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.
