OXFORD JCT. - Funeral services for Fred Hronik, 45, who died Wednesday evening, March 29 at his home, were held Saturday, April 1, at St. Mark's Lutheran church. The Rev. Harold Gillaspie officiated. Burial was in Mayflower cemetery.

Rose Crois Masonic services were held Friday night at Hayden funeral home.

Mr. Hronik was born April 25, 1921 at Oxford Jct., the son of Emma Benhart and Edward Hronik. He was married to Doris Loitz at Maquoketa June 28, 1943. He had always farmed where he had been living at the time of his death.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Francine) Bahnsen of Oxford Jct. and Mrs. Dennis (Candace) Kelley of Arlington Heights, Ill; one son, Joe at home; his mother, Mrs. Emma Hronik and one brother, Allen, both of Oxford Jct.

He was preceded in death by his father and one brother.
