ONSLOW - Funeral services for Ernest Alfred Horton, 87, were held March 23 at the Onslow Presbyterian church. Burial was in Clay cemetery.

Mr. Horton died March 21, at John McDonald hospital, Monticello. He was born Nov. 23, 1879, the son of Edma and Marilla Beckwith Horton in Scotch Grove township.

On Feb. 27, 1901, he married Pearl Sutton. She died March 6, 1946.

Surviving are one son, Floyd of Onslow; two daughters, Mrs. Fred (Gladys) Ladehoff of Aitken, Minn. and Mrs. M. P. (Genevieve) Paulsen of Center Jct.; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Edith Johnson, St. Edwards, Nebr.
