Last rites for Ben Paulsen, 69, Center Junction, brother of C. W. Paulsen, Lowden, were held at Wayne Zion Lutheran church, Center Junction, Feb. 24, with burial in the church cemetery.

Mr. Paulsen died in St. Luke's hospital, Cedar Rapids, Feb. 22, following an extended illness.

Benhardt Nickolas Paulsen was born Jan. 11, 1900, the son of Peter and Sophia Behlken Paulsen near Center Junction. He had farmed his entire life on the Paulsen home farm. He was a member of Wayne Zion Lutheran church.
