Services for Mrs. John Fluckiger, 68, were held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Sacred Heart church, Monticello. Rev. Eugene Lorenz offered the requiem high mass and officiated at the burial in Sacred Heart cemetery. The Devaney funeral home had charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Harry Lyon, Ambrose O'Rourke, Rudolph Flack, Lyle Ridenour, Nick Kehoe and William Leonard.

Mrs. Fluckiger, who died Wednesday evening in John McDonald hospital, was born Jan. 14, 1883, in Woodbine, the daughter of Jake and Minnie Anderson. She moved to Monticello after her marriage in 1902.

She is survived by her husband; four daughters, Mrs. William (Teresa) Walderbach of Anamosa, Mrs. Harley (Mary) Bulgren of Center Junction, Mrs. John (Lucile) Seivers of Anamosa, and Mrs. Maynard (Rosaline) Glick of Cedar Rapids; two sons, Leonard and Ray, both of Monticello; three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Wright of Monticello, Mrs. Berthe Moore and Mrs. Ada Schmid, both of Park Rapids, Minn.; four brothers, Jacob, Sam and Perry Anderson, all of Park Rapids, and Ernest, of Cascade; and 18 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, John and Paul.
