OLIN - Funeral services for Edward E. Shankland, 70, a resident of the Jones county home, were held Wednesday, April 5, at the Evangelical United Brethren church in Olin, with interment at the Pleasant Hill cemetery.

Mr. Shankland died Sunday afternoon at the home. He was born July 3, 1896, the son of Issac E. and Clara E. Smith Shankland at Hale.

Survivors include a brother, Hubert P. Shankland of Olin and a sister, Mrs. Stella M. Ganser of Altha, Fla.
