OXFORD JCT. Funeral services for Mrs. Martin (Augusta) Petersen,87, who died early Friday morning, Sept. 2, at her home after a long illness, were held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 at the Hayden Funeral home with the Rev. Harold Gillespie officiating.

She was born April 4, 1879 in Husum, Germany, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Ahrendsen. She came to this country and vicinity when she was 13 years old. She was married to Martin Petersen Nov. 19, 1902 in Hale. They farmed until their retirement 22 years ago.

Survivors include her husband, two sons, Marvin and Hans, and two daughters, Mrs. Harry (Elsie) Fowler and Mrs. George (Hilda) Slouha, all of Oxford Jct., and one sister, Mrs. Thomas (Margaret) Carstensen of Oxford Jct.
