OXFORD JCT. - Funeral services for Mrs. Joseph (Anna) Buresh, Sr., 88, who died Wednesday morning, Dec. 21, in the Jackson county hospital, Maquoketa, after a long illness, were held Friday afternoon at Hayden Funeral home. The Rev. Ramon Booth officiated. Burial was in Mayflower cemetery.

Pallbearers were grandsons, Charles, Robert, Joe and Louis Buresh, Alvin Brauer and Stanley Coon.

She was born April 7, 1878, near Oxford Jct. the daughter of Mike and Catherine Kulhavy Benhart. She was married to Joseph Buresh Sr. Nov. 8, 1897 in Maquoketa. She was a 50 year member of the ZCBJ lodge.

Survivors include two sons, Louis and Otto, both of Oxford Jct.; six grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and one brother, Otto Benhart of Oxford Jct.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one son and one sister.
