OLIN - Funeral services for John Carl Billman, 78, were held at Hayden Funeral home Monday, Oct. 3. The Rev. Robert Jones officiated. Burial was in Canton cemetery.

Mr. Billman died Sept. 30, at Anamosa Community hospital. He was born Aug. 31, 1888 at West Union, the son of Wendell and Minnie Billman. He attended the Dayton Valley school. Most of his life was spent around Olin. He never married.

He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Lewinnie Wasoba, Fulton, Ill., and Mrs. Lana Murfield, Olin, and one brother, Leonard, Lone Tree.

Pallbearers were Leo Bonjour, Alfred Pegorick, Lyle Larkey, George Vacek, Joe Riches, Robert Timmons.
