OXFORD JCT. - Funeral services for Mrs. Frank (Bernice) Blahnik, 58, were held Tuesday morning at the Hayden Funeral home with the Rev. Stanley Chapin officiating. Burial was in Mayflower cemetery.

Mrs. Blahnik died Sunday morning, July 24, at Jackson county hospital, Maquoketa. She was born Aug. 10, 1907 in northeast Jones county, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Yarolem. She was married to Frank Blahnik Sept. 10, 1929. They farmed north of Oxford Jct. for many years until his death.

Survivors include one son, Frank J. at home; one daughter, Mrs. Edward (Betty) Hansen of Cedar Rapids and three grandchildren. Her husband and her parents preceded her in death.
