MONTICELLO - Funeral services for Karen Jean Houston, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles V. Houston, were held Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 14, at St. Luke's Methodist church, Monticello. Burial was at Oakwood cemetery. The Rev. Denton Ericson officiated at the service.

The infant was born July 28, 1966 at Monticello, the daughter of Charles and E. Joyce Mettler Houston. She died at St. Luke's Methodist hospital, Cedar Rapids, Sunday evening, Sept. 11.

She is survived by her parents, three sisters and one brother, maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Mettler, Hopkinton, and paternal grandmother, Mrs. Hazel Houston, Coggon.
