OLIN - Funeral services for Mrs. Merle (Florence Marie) Knapp, 46, were held Wednesday at Chapel of Memories in Cedar Rapids. The Rev. Daniel W. Moher of St. John's Lutheran church, Olin, officiated. Burial was in Cedar Memorial cemetery.

Mrs. Knapp died Sunday, March 5, after a long illness. She was born April 20, 1920 at Anamosa. She was married to Merle M. Knapp June 1, 1938 at Anamosa. They had lived at Olin seven years and prior to that in the Marion vicinity 15 years.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran church, Olin, and Antioch Social Circle, Anamosa.

Surviving are her husband; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Odeen, Marion; two daughters, Mrs. Dean Arnold of Mt. Vernon and Mrs. Norman Lindley of Olin; five grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Arnold Steenhoek, Marion; three brothers, Harry and Carl Odeen of Marion and Lester Odeen of Stanwood.
