OLIN - Funeral services for Mrs. Jennie Moffett, 90, were held Friday, Nov. 11, at Hayden Funeral home with the Rev. Robert Jones officiating. Burial was in the Wyoming cemetery.

Mrs. Moffett was born Feb. 29, 1876 at Anamosa, the daughter of John A. and Teresa Sawyer Holmes. She graduated from Davenport high school and taught in Jones county schools until her marriage to John M. Moffett in 1905.

They moved to Missouri in 1932 and farmed until his death in1953. Mrs. Moffett had made her home with a nephew, John Holmes, rural Wyoming, for the past five years.

Pallbearers were Ralph Coppess, Fred Bunting, Maurice Bonjour, Robert Mason, Dillon Story and Gerald Lyon.
