ANAMOSA - Funeral services for Mrs. Richard Murray, 30, were held Wednesday, Sept. 21, at Wayne Zion Lutheran church, rural Monticello with the Rev. Luther Wachholz officiating. Burial was in the Wayne cemetery.

Mrs. Murray died Sept. 19 at John McDonald hospital, Monticello, following a lingering illness. Meta Amelia Ulferts, daughter of Emil and Wilhemena Brockens Ulferts, was born Sept. 8, 1936 at Monticello. She graduated from Anamosa high school in 1955. She was married to Richard Murray Sept. 16, 1956.

She was a member of Wayne Zion Lutheran church.

Survivors include her husband, Richard; one son, Ross Burton; one daughter, Ann Marie; her father, Emil Ulferts, Monticello; one sister, Mrs. Dean Edwards, Anamosa, and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ulferts, Anamosa.

She was preceded in death by her mother on Dec. 2, 1958.
