Wyoming - Adolph Benning, 79, died suddenly at his home here, Sunday, July 17. Services were held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Lutheran church. Burial was in the Wyoming cemetery.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Berniece Hall, Kansas City, Mo., and one son, Raymond Benning of Wyoming.

WYOMING - Adolph Detlef Benning, 76, was born Nov. 9, 1886 at Calamus and died July 17 at his home here. Funeral services and burial were held July 20 at Wyoming.

Mr. Benning was the son of Claus and Anna Martens Benning. He was married May 10, 1919 to Malinda Bahnsen, who died in 1956. They farmed near Clarence until 1937 when they entered business in Wyoming. They retired in 1950 and lived for a short time in Kansas City, Mo. before returning to Wyoming.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Bernice Hall, Kansas City, Mo.; one son, Raymond of Wyoming; five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Justis of Holstein and Ernest of Donahue.

Pallbearers were Clare Westphal, Howard Jamison, Earl Mayberry, Robert Alden, Howard Day and Rinnie Wessels.
