MONTICELLO - Mrs. Joe Huxtable, 53, died at John McDonald hospital Saturday, Feb. 5, from a cardiac failure. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Goettsch Funeral home with the Rev. J. Benj. Wild officiating. Burial was at Oakwood cemetery.

Ruth Edna Cunningham Huxtable was born April 14, 1912 at Monticello, the daughter of Dayton and Dora Cunningham. She attended the Monticello schools and was married to Joseph Huxtable of Monticello April 19, 1939. They made Monticello their home until a year ago when they moved to Hopkinton. She was a member of First Presbyterian church, Pythian Sisters, Royal Neighbors and American Legion Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, one sister and one half-sister.

Survivors include her husband Joseph of Hopkinton and one half sister, Mrs. Wayne (Myrtle) Barnts.

Pallbearers included Cletus Sauser, Richard Harris, Roger Pratt, Joe Ladehoff, Lester Rickels and John Bunting.
