WYOMING - Funeral services were held Tuesday, Aug. 16, at 2 p.m. at Hayden Funeral home, for Mrs. Jennie McDonald, 95. The Rev. Nevin N. Williams officiated. Burial was in the Wyoming cemetery.

Mrs. McDonald died Aug. 15, at St. Lukes hospital, Cedar Rapids. She was born Sept. 16, 1870 in Madison township. The daughter of James and Sarah Day, she grew up in the Wyoming community.

She was married to James McDonald Nov. 6, 1980 and moved to Washta, where he husband operated a jewelry store. In December of 1965 she came to the Brandt nursing home in Wyoming.

Preceded in death by her husband, her parents and three brothers, Mrs. McDonald is survived by nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Robert Davis, Ronald Lindley, Edmund O'Connor, Steven Petersen, Duane Mallicoat and Ralph Andresen.
