MONTICELLO - Mrs. Lloyd Scovel, 59, died at John McDonald hospital Thursday, March 3, following a long illness. Funeral services were held Sunday at Clifton's at Earlville.

Anna Mary Walker Scovel was born April 4, 1906 at Andrew, the daughter of Samuel M. and Lydia Walker. She attended schools at Andrew, Manchester and Earlville.

She was married to Lloyd Scovel Dec. 21, 1926 in Chicago. They lived a number of years in Earlville before moving to Monticello.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Mrs. Lloyd Fullrton.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Ardis) Boardman, Manchester; two sons, Kenneth, serving in the Air Force at Yokohama, Japan and Arthur of Mt. Movis, Ill.; five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Merten Hunt of Earlville and Mrs. Carl Baker of Edgewood; one brother, Robert Walker of Edgewood.
