MONTICELLO - Mrs. Tom Shover, 76, died suddenly at her home near Monticello, Monday, Feb. 7 following a heart attack. Funeral services were held from Goettsch Funeral home Wednesday afternoon with the Rev. J. Benj. Wild officiating. Burial was made in Oakwood cemetery.

Olive M. Shover was born Aug. 23, 1889 at Scotch Grove, the daughter of Charles and Josephine Hughes Moses. She graduated from Monticello high school in 1907 and attended State College of Iowa at Cedar Falls. On Sept. 24, 1909 she was married to Thomas Shover on Monticello. They made Monticello their home.

She was a member of First Presbyterian church and Order of Eastern Star in Monticello.

Survivors include her husband; three children, Mrs. Wallace (Jayne) Dickey of Wayne, Ill., John C. of Monticello and Myric V. of Cedar Rapids; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; one step-sister, Mrs. Truman Stanton of Center Jct.

Pallbearers include Frederick Shover, J. W. Thompson, Russett Hughes, Jack Stingley, Arling Hughes and LaVern Nagel.
