OXFORD JCT. - Funeral services for Mrs. John (Tillie) Pashek, 83, who died early Sunday, Sept. 4, at her home, were held Sept. 6 at Hayden Funeral home with the Rev. Ramon Booth of Cedar Rapids officiating. Burial was in Mayflower cemetery. Graveside services were conducted by the Royal Neighbors.

Matilda Mae Wosoba was born in Oxford township Nov. 18, 1882, the daughter of O. J. and Mary Willimack Wosoba. She was married to John Pashek in Oxford Jct. on Feb. 27, 1906. They farmed until his death in 1917 and she has since lived in Oxford Jct.

She was a member of the Royal Neighbors, the Eastern Star, the American Legion Auxiliary and the Women's Community club.

Survivors include one son John of Oxford Jct., two grandchildren and one brother Louis of Cicero, Ill.

Pallbearers included Louis Balichek, Otto Koranda, Charles Crane, Richard Wink, Ed Knake and August Hansen.
