LANGWORTHY - Miss Margaret Poppe, 77, died at John McDonald hospital early Friday morning, Dec. 3, after being a patient there 11 days. She had been ill for several months.

Funeral services were held Monday at St. John's Lutheran church, rural Monticello, with the Rev. C. C. Gutekunst officiating. Burial was made at the church cemetery.

Born near Scotch Grove, Sept. 19, 1888, she was the daughter of Johnson and Mary Balster Poppe. She attended the rural schools of that area and was a member of St. John's Lutheran church.

Survivors include two brothers, George of Langworthy and Conrad of Monticello. Her parents and one brother Arend preceded her in death.
