MONTICELLO - Mrs. Alvina Prull died Oct. 13 at St. Luke's hospital in Cedar Rapids, where she had been a patient for two days. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon from St. Matthew Lutheran church with Rev. Anton Kirkegaard officiating. Burial was made at Oakwood cemetery.

Mrs. Prull was born near Center Jct. March 26, 1879, the daughter of Carsten and Wilhelmine Peters. She was married to Heinrich Prull on Oct. 26, 1910. The couple farmed for a number of years in Delaware and Jones counties, before retiring and moving to Monticello in 1940. Mr. Prull died in 1958. For the past two years, Mrs. Prull had made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Louis Tapken of Anamosa.

Surviving are four children: Mrs. Louis (Minnie) Tapken, Anamosa; Eilert H. Prull, Monticello; Mrs. Wilbur (Laura) Nachtrieb, Whittier, Calif., and Mrs. Paul (Frieda) Suchsland of Marion.

Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. Minnie McVay of Clarence; one brother, Henry Peters of Monticello; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Her parents, three brothers, two sisters and a grandchild preceded her in death.

Pallbearers included Harry Dierks, Emil Prull, William Peters, Laverne McVay, Raymond Peters and Hermon Wolbern.
