OLIN - Funeral services for Jesse M. Hansen, 60, were held Oct. 2 at Hayden Funeral home with the Rev. Robert G. Jones officiating. Burial was in Cedar Memorial cemetery, Cedar Rapids.

Mr. Hansen was born Aug. 24, 1905 on a farm south of Olin, the son of Chris and Othelie Lovstad Hansen.

On Sept. 21, 1929, he was married to Harriet Johnson at the Little Brown church, Nashua. They were the parents of four children, Mrs. Virginia Clark, Cedar Rapids; James P. Hansen, Dubuque; Mrs. Sarah Jane Brown, Clinton, and Donald Peter Hansen, Cedar Rapids.

The couple's married life was spent in and around Olin except for five years in Minnesota. He had worked for the past 11 years at the men's reformatory.

Survivors include his wife and children, nine grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Emma Grafft, Anamosa.
