WYOMING - Mrs. M. A. Flaherty, 57, a former Jones county resident, died Sunday at Tuscon, Ariz. following a lengthy illness. She was a sister of John Holmes of Wyoming.

Mrs. Flaherty was reared in the Olin area, where she made her home with an aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. John Mossitt. She graduated from Olin high school in 1927 and from Cornell college in 1931.

In addition to her brother, she is survived by her husband; two sons, Tom and Walter, one daughter, Mrs. Walter (Linda) Burrichter and four grandchildren, all of California.

Holmes flew to Arizona Tuesday to be with the family and to assist with funeral arrangements.
