AMBER - Mrs. Herman (Grace A.) Englebart, 63, died at the John McDonald hospital Tuesday, May 17. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, May 20, at Wayne Zion Lutheran church with the Rev. Luther Wachholz officiating. Burial will be in the Wayne cemetery.

Mrs. Engelbart was born Feb. 24, 1903 at Amber, the daughter of J. Gerhard and Sophia C. Braekens Bodeker. She was educated in the rural schools of that area. On Feb. 15, 1922, she was married to Herman Engelbart. They made their home on a farm near Amber for a number of years, and also operated a grocery store in Amber. She was preceded in death by a daughter in January 1966.

Survivors include her husband Herman; three sons, Laverne of Amber, Marvin and Galen of Anamosa; two daughters, Mrs. Larry (Dorothy) Jones of Wyoming and Mrs. Kieth (Arlene) Kirkpatrick of Mt. Vernon; 13 grandchildren; one brother John Bodeker of Amber; five sisters, Mrs. Rhiney Wessels and Mrs. Margaret Broderson of Wyoming, Mrs. Louie Hayden and Mrs. Louie Rickels of Center Jct., Mrs. Clarence Heeren of Anamosa.
