OXFORD JCT. - Funeral services for Mrs. Elmer (Amelia) Eganhouse, 66, who died suddenly Feb. 11 at her home here, were held Monday morning at Sacred Heart church with the Rev. Paul Budreau officiating. Burial was in Mayflower cemetery.

Mrs. Eganhouse was born March 4, 1899, at Bellevue, the daughter of Valentine and Ann Dirkson Diefer. She was married to Elmer Eganhouse Sept. 18, 1917 at Bellevue. In 1939 they moved to a farm near Wyoming, where they lived until 1957 when they retired and moved to Oxford Jct.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Edward (Carmen) Rubel of Bellevue, Mrs. Lawrence (Rosemary) Nolan of Wyoming and Mrs. Edward (Virginia) Wiese of Davenport; eight sons, George M. and Dr. Gerald of Cedar Rapids, Merton and Vernon of Wyoming, Robert of Pittsburg, Pa., Leland of Monmouth, Dr. Thomas of Northbrook, Ill., and David of Davenport.

Also surviving are 34 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Joe of Bellevue and Arnold of Des Moines; five sisters, Mrs. Ida Feltis of Arcadia, Wis., Mrs. Joe Schackleford of Albuquerque, N. M., Mrs. Leona Mann of San Francisco, Calif., Mrs. Irene Roe of Bellevue and Mrs. Clara Kirwin of Oelwein.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Pallbearers were six grandsons, James Nolan, Robert Nolan, Robert Eganhouse, James Rubel, Thomas Edwards and Steven Eganhouse.
