OXFORD JCT. Mrs. Fred Rehmke, 70, died Sunday at the home of her son, Harold. She and her husband farmed until his death in 1945.

Survivors include four sons, Louis of Durant; Robert of Elkader; Herbert and Harold of Oxford Jct.; two daughters, Mrs. Melvin Thumma and Mrs. Robert Thumma of Tipton; a sister, Hertha Cubbage of Oxford Jct. and 19 grandchildren.

Services were Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at S. Mark's Lutheran church with burial in the Stanwood cemetery.

OXFORD JCT. - Funeral services for Mrs. Fred (Anna) Rehmke, 70, who died Sunday afternoon, July 31, at the home of her son Harold after a long illness, were held Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 3, at St. Mark's Lutheran church. Rev. Harold Gillispie officiated. Burial was in the Stanwood cemetery.

She was born Sept. 11, 1895, in Oxford Jct., the daughter of Thomas and Catherine Broderson Eichhorn. She was married to Fred Rehmke on Jan. 29, 1918, in Anamosa. He died 21 years ago.

Survivors include four sons, Louis of Durant, Robert of Elkader and Herbert and Harold of Oxford Jct.; two daughters, Mrs. Melvin (Rosetta) Thumma and Mrs. Robert (Betty) Thumma of Tipton; one sister, Mrs. Hertha Cubbage of Oxford Jct. and 19 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and one daughter.
