WYOMING - Funeral services for David Justice Phelps were held May 3 at Hayden Funeral home with burial in the Wyoming cemetery. The Rev. Nevin Williams officiated.

Mr. Phelps was born April 20, 1882, in Wyoming and died May 1 at Scotch Grove. He was a mason and a lifetime resident of the Wyoming area. He was married to Katherine Countryman. One son was born of this union.

He is survived by the son, Harris of Wyoming; five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. John Strong of Wyoming and Mrs. Nina Faurote of Bloustone, Calif., and seven stepchildren.

Pallbearers were Leonard Ahrendsen, Charles Redmond, Robert McCalmant, Robert Alden, Ted Bahnsen and Paul E. Levsen.
