Funeral services for Matilda M. Kreinbring, 78, Olin, was held Saturday, June 28, at the Hayden Funeral Home in Olin. Rev. Edward Peterson, pastor of the United Methodist Church officiated. Burial was in the Olin Cemetery. Pallbearers were Robert, Joey, and Michael Chamberlin, Stephen and David Johnson, and Donald Young.
Matilda was born Sept. 13, 1901, in Cedar County near Clarence, Ia., the daughter of William and Anna Schrader. She attended the rural school near her home.
She was married to George Harness, Dec. 16, 1922, at Clarence. They had two daughters, Velma, Mrs. Gerald Chamberlin, Olin and Viola, Mrs. John Johnson, Lisbon.
On July 30, 1952, she married Walter Krienbring at Clarence. They have lived in Olin.
She is survived by her husband, Walter, her two daughters; two sisters, Mrs. Frieda Vicker, Bryan, OH, and Mrs. Wilma Schmidt, Harmon, IL; one brother, Karl Krafalk, Clarence; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, her parents and two sisters.
