WYOMING - Funeral services for Edward Henry Ohlmeyer, 83, were held Monday, May 17, at Zion Lutheran church. He died Saturday morning following several years of failing health.

Mr. Ohlmeyer, the son of Henry and Sophia Kunze Ohlmeyer, was born July 6, 1881 at Preston. He grew up on a farm in Jackson county and attended country schools. He was married to Christian Hinrichsen Krouse at Maquoketa on Jan. 1, 1925. They spent most of their married life in Wyoming.

He was a member of Zion Lutheran church, Wyoming.

Survivors include his wife; one brother, William of Spragueville; one sister, Mrs. Dora King of Miles. One sister and three brothers preceded him in death.
