ANAMOSA - Funeral services for Mrs. Harold Norton, 79, were held Tuesday afternoon at Goettsch Funeral home, Anamosa, with burial in Oakwood cemetery, Monticello.

Mrs. Norton died Saturday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Tom Davidson, Lost Nation. She was born Oct. 16, 1885 in Monticello, the daughter of John and Mary Beggs Barnts. She was married Jan. 18, 1907 to Harold H. Norton, who preceded her in death. They lived 12 years in Des Moines before moving to Anamosa.

In addition to Mrs. Davidson, she is survived by another daughter, Mrs. William (Doris) Peck, Wyoming; three sons, Neil and William of Anamosa and Russell of Marion; 22 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Minnie White of Beaver Dam, Wis., Mrs. Elsie Hanthorn of Leon and Mrs. Pearl Schneider of Monticello.
