OXFORD JCT. - Funeral services for Mrs. Rose Mizaur, 84, who died May 13 at Dubuque after a short illness, were held Monday at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart church with Rev. Joseph Kissling officiating. Burial was in Mayflower cemetery.

Pallbearers were her grandsons, Steven Becker, James Becker, Robert Becker, Kenneth Eirckson, Richard Erickson and David Mizaur.

She was born Sept. 9, 1880, the daughter of Jacob and Antonia Novotny at Rollenschachen, Austria. She came with her parents to Oxford Jct. when she was 11 years old. She was married to Nicholas Mizaur Feb. 2, 1904. They had always farmed near Oxford Jct.

She was a member of the Sacred Heart church, Sanctuary Guild, Rosary Society and the Royal Neighbors.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Henrietta Cashman of Dubuque, Mrs. Howard (Thelma) Becker of Monmouth and Mrs. Ferd (Georgia) Erickson of Oxford Jct.; one son, Robert N. of Oxford Jct.; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and one daughter.
