MONTICELLO - Funeral services for Mrs. Lewis H. Lange, 92, were held Monday, March 6, at 11 a.m. at the Goettsch funeral home. Interment was in the Oakwood cemetery. The Rev. Denton Ericson conducted the services.

Mrs. Lang died at John McDonald hospital early Friday morning, March 3.

Louisa Ann Lang was born at Brunswick, Ohio, Aug. 19, 1874, the daughter of Charles and Margaret Bowen Tibbitts. At an early age, her family moved to Hopkinton where she received her education and attended Lenox college.

She taught school for a time and was a clerk in the Hopkinton post office. On April 11, 1901, she married Lewis H. Lang and the couple made their home in Monticello, where Mr. Lang operated a roller mill for many years. He died May 31, 1947.

She was a member of St. Luke's Methodist church, Monticello.

Also preceding her in death were her parents, one brother and five sisters.

Survivors include a son, Charles Stuart Lang of Elmhurst, Ill., and a granddaughter, Mary Jane Lang of Kansas City, Mo.
