Funeral services were held for Mrs. William Palmer, former resident of the Scotch Grove area, at Maquoketa on Monday afternoon, Dec. 7. Burial was in the Baldwin cemetery.

Mrs. Palmer, the former Gertrude Sarah Oltmanns, made her home with Mr. and Mrs. William Oltmanns, Scotch Grove, and grew to adulthood in the Scotch Grove area.

She was confirmed in St. John's Lutheran church in 1926, and for a time was a member of the original Scotch Grove girls 4-H club, prior to the present organization.

Survivors include her husband and three children.

Among those from Scotch Grove attending the service were Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Otlmanns.
