MONTICELLO - William L. O'Rourke, 82, died at John McDonald hospital Sunday, Sept. 11. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at Sacred Heart Catholic church with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. E. P. Lorenz officiating. Burial was at Immaculate Conception cemetery in Castle Grove with Msgr. Hennessey presiding.

Mr. O'Rourke was born in Castle Grove, Jan. 23, 1883, the son of Lawrence and Sara Fitsgerald O'Rourke. He was educated in that area and farmed in Castle Grove for many years before retiring and moving to Monticello.

He is survived by two brothers, Louis of Monticello and Charles of Highmore, S.D., and one sister, Miss Alice O'Rourke of Monticello.

Pallbearers included Leo Donovan, Virgil Haag, Mark Leonard, Cletus Goedken, James Hogan and Clair Aitichison.
