CENTER JCT. - Funeral services were held Monday afternoon for Mrs. Jeanetta Norris Leech, 93, who died at John McDonald hospital, Monticello, March 5.

Rev. John C. Beran of Center Jct. conducted the services at Hayden Funeral home, Wyoming. Burial was in North Madison Pioneer cemetery, Center Jct.

Mrs. Leech came to Jones county with her family when 10 years old and lived in the Scotch Grove and Center Jct. area the rest of her life. She was born Jan. 25, 1872 at Cumberland, Md., the daughter of George and Eliza White Norris. She was married to Howard Leech of Center Jct. Nov. 20, 1901. They lived in Center Jct. all their married life. Mr. Leech died Sept. 24, 1961. Mrs. Leech had been in failing health for several years.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Mary) Wilcox of Center Jct., one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter; one brother, A. B. Norris, Hawick, Minn. and several nephews and nieces.

Pallbearers were Dillon Mead, Leonard Serbousek, Grey Dreibelbis, William Wessels, Boyd Christensen and Truman Stanton.
